About me

Drawing on experience in education and NHS settings, I offer trauma-informed integrative counselling in a safe, supportive space for adults and young people.

After many years working in education, I experienced first hand how many young people and adults silently dealt with with emotional challenges alone. I recognised how a listening ear and genuine understanding could make a profound difference in their lives. This inspired me to take my passion for supporting others further and train as a trauma informed integrative counsellor.

Now, I combine my experiences in education with my counselling expertise to help you navigate life’s struggles, build resilience, and discover your inner strength. My own journey has deepened my belief in the power of connection and the importance of creating a safe space where every individual feels heard and valued.

I have practiced therapeutically as a counsellor in an NHS GP practice, a large secondary school and I also lecture counselling to adult learners.  My experiences have afforded me with a diverse insight into how counselling can help a wide range of issues irrespective of age, background or culture.

My practice is fully insured and compliant with ICO regulations.  I hold an enhanced DBS along with my membership of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). This supports my ethical practice and ongoing professional development and training as part of my commitment to my client's wellbeing and therapeutic experience.
